Steven Wayland has over twenty-five years of broad corporate experience, negotiating mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, licensing and other commercial agreements, joint ventures and equityholder arrangements as well as providing general corporate counseling. His experience includes working at a top tier Wall Street law firm in Manhattan, serving as in-house counsel to a Latin American telecommunications company and practicing for over ten years at a highly regarded boutique in Chicago where he was instrumental in driving strong growth in the corporate department and firm overall.
He received his law degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1997 and is a 1993 graduate of Oklahoma State University, with honors. He also received a master’s degree in Politics of the World Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1994.
